Fitek Balcan becomes majority stakeholder of Tehnobiro

Fitek Balkan becomes majority stakeholder of personalized printing and enveloping company Tehnobiro. The deal was finalized on July 6. As a result, Fitek Balkan Ltd will own 51% of the stake and thus become the majority owner of Tehnobiro.

“Tehnobiro is an important player on the mailing market in Serbia. We agreed to join forces to lead the technological transformation of the mailing business. We will offer advanced IT solutions for sending invoices, account statements and other documents, as well as digitize the financial processes of Tehnobiro customers.

Tehnobiro will also take over a part of Fitek’s printing operations to optimize production flows and reduce our printing costs,” says Mirko Golijanin, Managing Director of Fitek Serbia.


Mr. Zoran Milovanović, founder and former owner, will remain the Director of Tehnobiro for at least 3 years.

1 July marks one year since the state of Estonia started accepting only e-invoices. This move made the state a pioneer in the transition to modern settlement solutions in Estonia; in one year, state agencies have received 370,000 e-invoices from their cooperation partners. Financial technology company Fitek, the operator of e-invoices for state agencies, estimates that the share of e-invoices received by the public sector has more than tripled, reaching 98%.

The e-invoicing solution was recently launched in Latvia and Lithuania, and 8 more countries will be added in July. In Estonia, the e-invoicing solution arved.ee aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises has been in use for a year, and almost 13,000 companies have joined it. Almost 90% of the invoices sent are e-invoices.
