Fitek’s new Sales Invoice Product Manager in Estonia is Kertu Roosimägi

Kertu Roosimägi became the new Sales Invoice Product Manager of financial technology company Fitek Estonia. She has been engaged in accounting for 9 years and encourages companies to use e-invoices because this makes the financial work processes more convenient and saves a lot of time.

Karl-Eric Schneider, Managing Director of Fitek Estonia: “Our business area needs young thinkers with an open mind and horizons. A decent work experience, with Kertu, with our customer, provides a solid knowledge base and cognition that allows offering our customers to deliver solutions that they really need. ”

Kertu Roosimägi, Sales Invoice Product Manager of Fitek Estonia: “I have been engaged in accounting in a number of companies and have seen how accounting automation is developing, and how inclined businesses are to change. When sending e-invoices, you can be sure of faster processing of the customer’s invoices, and if there are errors in the invoice, they can be eliminated more quickly and assuming that the customer pays the invoice by the due date. ”

In Estonia, enterprises are increasingly introducing, sending and receiving e-invoices. Mostly, according to Roosimägi, on the corporate side, the topic is well known, and interest and awareness have increased since a couple of years ago. “The final decision of the public sector to accept e-invoices would be a big boost for the private sector to get involved in the issue more actively,” she notes.

Kertu Roosimägi encourages future e-invoice users: the changes that accompany innovations are inconvenient only in the short-term view. The introduction of e-invoicing provides smoother work on a longer-term basis and provides more time for dealing with substantive issues in the company.

1 July marks one year since the state of Estonia started accepting only e-invoices. This move made the state a pioneer in the transition to modern settlement solutions in Estonia; in one year, state agencies have received 370,000 e-invoices from their cooperation partners. Financial technology company Fitek, the operator of e-invoices for state agencies, estimates that the share of e-invoices received by the public sector has more than tripled, reaching 98%.
